CLEAR ALIGNERS.

Clear, removable trays that gradually move your teeth. No braces, no wires.

YOUR TEETH, REARRANGED

MOVEMENT, PLANNED FIRST.

Clear aligners are a series of removable trays that gradually move your teeth, without brackets or wires. They are discreet enough for work and photos, and removable for eating, brushing and the occasions that matter.

Aligners are among the most conservative options we offer: your own teeth do the moving. We plan every movement digitally, so you can see the projected movement before you begin. It’s a projection based on your scans, not a guarantee of the final result.

Clear aligners tend to suit:

  • Crowded or overlapping teeth
  • Gaps you would like closed
  • Rotated or tilted teeth
  • Teeth that have drifted since braces
  • Anyone considering an alternative to fixed braces

Whether aligners suit your bite is assessed at your consultation. If your case would be better treated another way, or by a specialist, we’ll tell you and help arrange it.

A digital plan first, so you can see the projected movement before anything begins. Then a series of custom trays, changed on a schedule we set together, with regular check-ins along the way. You can read the risks and considerations for clear aligners before you start. The full process is below.

Every case is different, so every plan and price is too. Our price guide sets out starting prices. At your consultation you’ll receive an itemised quote in writing, along with an estimated timeline for your case and the payment plan options and their terms.

THE BENEFITS

WHY ALIGNERS?

Discreet, removable, and mapped out digitally. Here’s what makes aligners different, and what to weigh up before you decide.

Clear trays that sit close to the teeth. Discreet in conversation and in photographs, though they can be seen up close and in some lighting.
Out for eating, brushing and the occasions that matter. In for everything else.
Your movement is mapped in 3D first, so you can see the projected movement before you begin.
Your own teeth do the moving, rather than anything being built on top of them.
None of the fixed hardware, and no foods off the list: trays come out to eat.

WHAT TO EXPECT

THE PROCESS.

01 | CONSULTATION & DIGITAL PLAN

A proper look at your teeth and bite, then a 3D scan. Your digital plan shows the projected movement and an estimated timeline, before you commit to anything.

02 | YOUR ALIGNER SERIES

Custom trays, changed on a schedule we set together. They only work while they’re in, so wear time matters, and check-ins every six to eight weeks keep things on track.

03 | REFINE & HOLD

Near the end we review closely and refine with extra trays if needed. Then retainers, worn long term, because teeth drift back toward where they started. We manage yours at your regular check-ups.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ASKED & ANSWERED.

If your question isn't here, please get in touch with us. We're always happy to help.

It depends on how much movement your case needs and how many trays that takes. Our price guide sets out starting prices, and at your consultation you’ll get an itemised quote in writing with an estimated timeline for your case.

Retainers afterwards are part of the plan rather than an optional extra, and we’ll be clear about those costs from the start. Payment plans are available, interest-free or low-interest depending on the plan, and their terms are on our pricing page.

Your digital plan gives you an estimated timeline before you start, but it’s a projection rather than a fixed date: how consistently the trays are worn affects how closely treatment tracks to plan.

Aligners are clear and sit close to the teeth, so most people find them discreet in conversation and in photographs. They’re nearly invisible rather than literally invisible: up close, and in some lighting, they can be seen. If attachments are used in your case, these are small tooth-coloured shapes bonded to some teeth to help the trays grip, and they’re visible on close inspection too.
Aligners work by applying pressure, so most people notice tightness or tenderness for a day or two after changing to a new tray, and some find teeth feel sore when biting. The edges can rub the tongue or cheeks at first, and a temporary lisp is common in the first week. Tell us if anything is bothering you: we can smooth edges, adjust, or slow the schedule down.
No. Trays come out to eat, and for anything other than plain water. Hot drinks can distort them, and sugary or coloured drinks get held against the teeth, which risks decay and staining. That does mean they need to go straight back in afterwards: the wear time is what makes the plan work.
Yes, and long term. Teeth tend to drift back toward where they started, so retainers are how the result is held. They need to be worn as directed, checked periodically, and replaced when they wear out. We keep an eye on yours at your regular check-ups. Retainers are part of the plan rather than an optional extra, and we’ll be clear about replacement costs from the start.
We use more than one, including Invisalign® and Angel Aligners®. Which suits your case depends on the movement involved, and that’s decided with you at your consultation. Whichever system is used, your case is planned in-house rather than sent away, which means the dentist designing your tooth movement is the same one you see at your appointments.
Different problems, different tools. Aligners move the teeth you already have into a different position. Bonding adds composite to reshape a tooth or close a small gap, usually in one visit. Veneers are thin shells bonded to the front surface to change shape and colour. Sometimes one is enough, and sometimes they’re used together: aligners first to position the teeth, then something else if you want it. Which is appropriate depends on your bite, your enamel and what you’re looking to change, and that’s what the consultation is for. You can read the risks and considerations for each before you decide.
Aligners only work while they’re in, so the result depends heavily on wear time. Teeth can be tender after each new tray, speech can be affected briefly, and retainers are needed long term to hold the result. Some cases suit aligners and some don’t: if yours would be better treated another way, or by a specialist, we’ll tell you that at the consultation rather than start something that won’t get you there. The full risks and considerations are worth reading before you decide.
