A temporary crown is placed on the tooth to protect it until the permanent crown is ready.
On your second visit, your dentist will remove the temporary crown and fit your new porcelain crown. The crown is carefully examined and adjusted to ensure it aligns perfectly with your bite and offers maximum comfort.
